Do you know the goblin of the mines, also called the old boy? This mischievous figure whispered an unusual story in our ears: the slates of Dorénaz are the best in the world… This aroused our curiosity and we set off in search of the old people of the village, their memories and the material that bears witness to this not too distant past!
It wasn’t long before we met connoisseurs who guided us to create an exhibition, the first part of which is entitled “Slate in the Land Beyond the Rhône”.
Open every Sunday from 10am to 12pm and from 1.30pm to 5pm.
