This balcony trail offers a plunging view of the plain and a panoramic view of the Mont-Blanc and Grand-Combin mountains.
Pleasant, wide, with a slight drop in altitude and also vertiginously high, the trail starts from Erié, goes through the La Blè Pass to reach Sorniot. This route runs along the southern flank of the Grand Chavalard mountain, between the steep slopes of crystalline rocks at the foot and the steppe and limestone rock walls towards the summit. At La Blè, the landscape suddenly opens out to the glacial cirque and the lower lake. The Sorniot mountain hut awaits to serve you delicious «PDO» raclette cheeses and apline serac cheese.
