A jewel of modern architecture designed by Jean-Paul Darbellay.
The church was consecrated in 1968. The play of volumes and the use of wood and concrete leave a lasting impression with its architectural boldness.
During its construction, the proximity and disparity of small villas scattered around the site made it impossible to create openings towards the outside or integrate it into the surrounding environment.
Capacity:
- Seating in the church: 480
- Weekday chapel: 120 seats
- Total capacity, ambulatory: 2200 seats.
Highly appreciated by the Martigny community for weddings, baptisms, and funerals, the church sometimes hosts concerts and other cultural events.
