Plan Creux sheltered picnic area and refectory

From this picnic area, you will dominate the Rhône Valley and be in an enchanting setting to organise your outing.

Situated at the bottom of the Forclaz Pass, at an altitude of 1500m, the Plan Creux picnic shelter can be hired with a kitchen corner and an inside grill for 30 people. Outside, a terrace is set out with 3 tables, benches and a grill (free wood available). A second building with two floors can be hired for 14 people; there, you will find a refectory and a fitted kitchen unit equipped with utensils, shower and adjoining toilets. Upstairs, there is a dormitory with 14 beds, which was completely renovated in 2018.

Access: Take the direction of the Col de la Forclaz from Martigny and at about 1.5 km from the summit, turn left (towards the barrier).
