The sheltered picnic area was built in 1984 on the heights of Saxon, at the altitude of the village of Sapinhaut. This calm and idyllic spot is situated in a clearing where one can share a pleasant relaxing moment. It has wooden benches and tables, a grill, a drinking-water fountain and a lawn. It also has toilets, electricity and drinking water. Close to a parcours Vita fitness course, and at an altitude of 1030m, the picnic area can accommodate 100 people.
Practical information: 6 grills, 10 uncovered tables, 20 benches, a bar.
Access: From Saxon follow the road to Sapinhaut. On leaving the village, take the turning on the right when you will see the sign “Couvert de Plan-Bot”.
