This cultural centre, situated at the heart of a vast sculpture park, receives internationally famous exhibitions and concerts throughout the year.
Since 1978, the Pierre Gianadda Foundation has become an outstanding museum in Switzerland and in Europe with significant temporary exhibitions. More than 10 million visitors have already admired works from private collections and the biggest museums in the world, notably exhibitions of works by Van Gogh, Picasso, Klee, Goya, Rodin, Giacometti, Schiele, Lautrec, Chagall and Modigliani amongst others. The Foundation also offers the opportunity to visit a Gallo-Roman museum, a motor car museum, a renowned music season and one of the most beautziful sculpture parks in Europe.
The aim of the Pierre Gianadda Foundation is simple: to bring together the memory of a brother who died far too young with a wish to promote the history of the town and provide it with temporary cultural activities.
