This sheltered picnic area has a glorious view over the Rhone valley.
The bourgeoisie and municipality of Charrat built the Mayen Moret sheltered picnic area so that ramblers could find in this idyllic place a relaxed, peaceful spot among the larch trees and the Adonis flowers. The calm and serenity of the place encourages the sharing of privileged moments between friends in a convivial atmosphere. The shelter is situated at an altitude of 760m and can take 150 people.
Practical information: It has benches and covered tables, toilets and drinking water.
Access: at the top of the village of Charrat, follow the Domaine de la Gitte road.
