Église paroissiale Notre-Dame de la Visitation

Because of the quality of its architecture, the N-D de la Visitation church is one of the most remarkable 17th century religious buildings in Valais. With its 18th century 50-metre high bell tower, the church is right in the heart of the Martigny conurbation. Excavations have revealed the remains of the first cathedral in Valais whose baptistery goes back to the 4th century.
